Strength and beauty, built to last
Made from durable ceramic and custom-shaded to match your teeth, same-day crowns offer a seamless, long-lasting solution for damaged or weakened teeth.
Preserve your natural tooth
Digital impressions and precision milling allow us to conserve more of your healthy tooth structure while still providing full protection and support.
Restore your smile in one visit
With traditional crowns, you’d need two appointments and a temporary crown. Same-day crowns eliminate the wait—so you walk out with a permanent, natural-looking result that same day.

Your appointment begins with a comfortable, mess-free digital scan of your tooth. Using a small handheld camera, we capture precise 3D images of the area, which are used to design your crown with pinpoint accuracy—no putty impressions required.

Once your custom crown is designed, we use our in-house milling machine to craft it from a solid block of high-grade ceramic. This process typically takes about 30–60 minutes, during which you’re free to relax or catch up on emails in our office.

After we confirm the fit, shape, and color, we’ll permanently bond the crown to your tooth and make any necessary bite adjustments. The result? A strong, beautiful restoration that feels just like your natural tooth—all in a single visit.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the appointment?
Plan for about 1.5 to 2 hours from start to finish. That includes scanning, design, milling, and placement—far more efficient than the two-visit process of traditional crowns.
Will I be numb during the procedure?
Yes. We use local anesthesia to keep you completely comfortable while preparing the tooth and placing the crown. Most patients report little to no discomfort during or after the procedure.
What conditions can same-day crowns treat?
Same-day crowns are ideal for restoring teeth that are cracked, worn down, decayed, or treated with root canals. They’re also great for cosmetic improvements when a tooth needs reshaping or coverage for discoloration.
Is a same-day crown as durable as a traditional crown?
Absolutely. Same-day crowns are made from high-strength ceramic that’s comparable to traditional lab-fabricated crowns in both durability and aesthetics. With good oral hygiene and regular dental checkups, they can last 10–15 years or more.
